Well guys I thought given the number of people indicating they are doing engine conversions I thought it would be good to get a definitive number...So this poll is open to anyone who is doing an engine conversion (ie. placing an engine in their Mini that is not an A, A+ or variant). As a sign that the project is not just a plan, only fill the poll out if you have purchased a halfcut, engine package or you have the engine in the car. Obviously if you have already completed your project please fill in the poll...

Well there you go everyone about 16 engine conversions at various stages of completion. That is more than enough for a sub club of converted Mini's.

Also got my driveshafts back today. So onto the alternator, remote oil filter, Fuel Pump system and electrics and she's done(ish).

I recently bought that Daihatsu Cuore advertised on this forum, along with a Morris Mini Van rolling shell, also advertised on this forum.

Once I pick it all up (gotta drive from Melb-Canberra and back, and Melb-Adelaide and back also) I'll yank the Daihatsu engine and go about getting the subframe modified (will probably go to Link in Mitcham).

Should be a good little conversion. EFI 3 cylinder (only 40 odd KW) but only done 40000kms, and whack a turbo on there and I'll be laughing!
