Just wondering, is anyone running 10" wheels with any of the engine conversions (4efte, swift, etc)? Or is it not recommended/possible?

The guy that builds the SC12 supercharger kits for Mini's is building a clubby with 4EFTE, 7.5" vented discs with 4 pots and 10" rims. Looks very standard on the outside (like any other Clubby S with mags!)!

Ah cool thanks for the replys (sorry didn't mean to hyjack the thread).. I was just asking cause I'm about to upgrade to disc brakes.. I was going to do the 7.5" cooper s discs, but I have plans for the distant future of doing a swift engine conversion maybe.. So I was thinking should I just get larger wheels and bigger brakes now? Or just go with the 7.5" discs and worry about it later?

its easy to get more power out of the a-series,
extractors, exhaust, bigger carb, cam, headjob

if you want more power than that, look to the land of the rising sun

that 3 grand will cover a professional workshop to strip the old frame of what is not needed, build new frame and engine mounts and install the engine and box. Also get the driveshafts made and installed and gearshifter installed.

Id say it will take more then a month to do a full conversion, but it could be done i spose, if you have everything ready and the workshop dosnt stuff you around.

Did you do yours yourself of was it workshopped? I have mates who use Advant a lot, although I'm not sure if they'd touch a mini...

What workshops exist around Sydney that would do a conversion of this scale?

Mr Enforcer is doing baracade's starlet mini now.

Search for posts by "baracade" or with the word "sini" (Starlet mINI)
or go to the dyno day & check them out
- wish that I could
