I'm also impressed!
Ordered late Thursday and arrives in Adelaide early this morning (Monday).

Great quality parts, great service and the freight was cheap!

I'm happy to recommend them. Will certainly be using them again!

Thanks John!

Thank You Guys,

I appreciate the feed back, we trying very hard to give the best service possible. Unfortunately problems sometimes do arise, however
I try to learn from any hiccup and take steps to try and prevent it happening again.

Thank You Again

John. If someone wanted to purchase a very small item like a sticker. Would they need to pay the $15 postage or should they ring you instead of using the website.
Cheers Brad

There is now an option at Checkout to select shipping for small items like decals and stickers that will fit in a normal envelope. The fee of $4.40 covers the cost of the envelope, handling and postage via Australia Post.

I too am impressed with mini kingdom , after 30 + years playing around with minis I finally went to Sydney from Melb and checked out mink kingdom online , John you were so accomodating and let me look around and chat , made me coffee and I enjoyed the afternoon . I am always looking for good quality parts to put on my cars and I really try to get NOS where I can , WOW what can I say john you have all those bits and pieces to do jobs properly and the place is organised . I'm asking myself why hadn't I been there before , it will always be my first point of call for anything I need from now on . Thanks John you were most accomodating and I'm stoked to have found the NOS tan vinyl roof for two of my cars .

Currently there's no forum rule that precludes a business from including a link in their signature panel. Of course, as a service to our membership we have the Mini Businesses folder with contact details - viewtopic.php?f=41&t=83593

The forum tries to maintain a sensible balance that enables Mini businesses to advertise their wares but avoids the equivalent of incessant junk mail. A quick search seems to show that those businesses who actively participate in general forum discussions, such as TheMiniMan (Matt Read) and MKO (John Smidt), do so without excessive plugging of their business. Neither has a contact link in their forum signature.

MKO don't offer an overseas (i.e. non Australia) online service as there's been hassles in courier and postal service deliveries, as I understand it. They've had their fingers burnt financially in the past I'm told. You really need to talk directly to them to confirm they will ship to you. Otherwise you need to find a local "agent" who will take delivery or pick-up from the shop and send to you.

If you want to phone see the contact details in the Mini Businesses folder - http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... 41&t=83593

A genuine question here for the moderators of the forum:

I believe I was the catalyst for this topic: http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=95880&hilit=rules
In this case, with the seller being a registered user why shouldn't all feedback good and bad be left?

It just seems wrong to me to say you can post positive feedback but no negative feedback, what is the point of feedback at all if that is the case? Any user who isn't overly familiar with the rules who uses the search function will find only glowing reviews of the company they are searching for and dive in.

The forum rules were developed at the outset (early 2004 I believe) and are fine-tuned from time to time, if needed.

The rules are open for discussion as you are doing here. Other members are free to comment if they wish. Unless there's a clear reason for change the rules remain.

The rule regarding negative comment about a business is self-explanatory and generally reflects society's defamation laws.
