I think the rules were designed to keep the owners / moderators of the Forum away from possible litigation issues that could arise from negative comments of Businesses , which is only fair as they are providing a service to the mini community that we all enjoy which takes a lot of personnel time and some expense to them no doubt, so that we can continue to have what we have today.
As far as negative comments go , i think they should be handled directly with the business involved not aired over a forum , granted ,some retail business experiences can go pair shaped for sure , i'm sure we've all had them at some time , but most of the time they can achieve an outcome .
