The mk1 heaters are great, given the core does not leak and the fan works.

Mounting it is reasonably easy, but you will need to make up a pair of small brackets to mount the forward end of the heater to the firewall. That is as serious as the mods get otherwise.

Agreed! The mk1 heater is great and if your 850 is a 63 model, it will likely have the brackets for it from the factory.
