Post subject:  stalling upon decelleration

My car keeps stalling!

I have replaced the spark plugs, the engine earth strap, the coil to dizzy lead (cracked), and have adjusted the fuel mixture.

It continues to stall. Mostly it happens when im going say 60 kmh, and have to slow down for a set of lights, as im going down through the gears... eventually the engine just dies off, and then i have to start it again. (to begin with, after it had stalled, it would be difficult to start again, as though it was flooded or something)

Also, i have to revvv it for a minute or two, a little after i've just started it up, else it stalls (which it never used to do).

Any ideas what could be wrong ? Anyone else had a similar problem ?
The dizzy is a honda electric, and i've checked the cap (seems fine)

A vacuum leak at the manifold or carby gasket perhaps?

haven't had a tacho for a while, but i set it to suit
because of the stalling i increased it a bit

it will idle fine quite often (after its warmed up a little), without choking and chugging, but as i say, sometimes it just stops vs decelleration

Is it when you let the accelerator go? Like let your foot slip off or let it go suddenly?

it looks like the guys suggesting vacuum leak were right.

one of the screw in plugs on either side of the heater outlet had been loosened a fair bit. I've tightened it up and the symptoms have disapeared!
