Would anybody have some photo's of the original heater vent hoses that was used in the Australian Clubman GT.
Better still - is it still available or has a close replacement been found?

Not sure about the Clubman GT heater and hose but below is a pic of the heater vent hose on my 1970 Cooper S with the plastic heater assembly. It's made of a black/grey paper material externally and a lighter colour internally.

I found a virtually identical hose of the correct style and diameter designed for the VW on the Just Kampers website.

The hose size seems to be a lot larger on the Clubman plastic heater and fresh air vents. Inlet larger than the outlet.
I'm unsure what type of material was used originally and their is no diagram in the Clubman parts manual.

That GT photo shows the tube attaching directly to the heater.

Usually they attach via 45 deg plastic fittings

If you are looking for something practical and cheap instead of original I used plastic 50mm unslotted agg pipe from bunnings[b]bunnings you can get a 20m roll for about $20

It’s sometimes called “hot air hose”. Old air cooled Porsche heaters used something similar for the heater, and other cars in the 70’s to 80’s used them for ducting from the exhaust manifold to the intake for cold starting

It seems a bit tricky finding the right black paper version these days

Thanks to the late great Mini King, John Smidt, I've extracted the following Clubman heater diagram from his excellent Mini Kingdom parts catalogue and modified it by showing the various part numbers of the components (the catalogue lists the part numbers on an adjacent page). Also below is the page of heater part numbers from the Leyland Australia Clubman parts catalogue (PUB1052). Unfortunately Leyland didn't bother to show an exploded parts diagram, just an adjacent blank page.

I note that there are some discrepancies when comparing the two documents. I think this is because there were part supersessions that resulted in a different part number. For example the demister hoses part AYG9382 have a Deleted note in PUB1052 and two entries near the bottom for parts AYG9383 and 84 which seem to be the replacements.

Feel free to comment if you can clarify any of the information. I can update the diagram where necessary.

I’ve got an AYG9427 elbow here and the approximate dimensions are:
Small end 56mm OD, 52mm ID
Big end 60mm OD, 56mm ID

I realise that original parts are desirable when doing a sympathetic resto but the original hoses were / are hopeless. They are made of paper which deteriorates and the first time you have to reattach them they start to unwind making reattaching a nightmare. And when your passenger stretches their legs, their feet will crush the hose easily. I put up with mine for ages before I finally got so frustrated that I changed to a metal foil tube / hose.
The bunning solution seems the best option.
